Follow these Registry steps to allow or disallow users from using full-screen mode in the Microsoft Edge browser on Windows 11 or 10:-

Step 1. Very first, launch Registry Editor.

Step 2. Next, steer for the following key in the left pane of the Registry Editor:-

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft

Quick Note: If you want to apply this policy only to the current user account, then follow this path:-

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft

Step 3. Now, right-click on the Microsoft key in the left sidebar and choose New > Key options.

Step 4. After that, set the name to Edge.

Step 5. Now, right-click on the Edge key and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value option.

Step 6. This time, name the newly created REG_DWORD to FullscreenAllowed.

To allow or disallow users from using full-screen mode in Edge on Windows 11 or 10 through Group Policy, follow these steps:-

Step 1. First, launch Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2. Next, steer for the following path in the left sidebar of the Local Group Policy Editor:-

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Edge

Step 3. On the right pane, double-click on the Allow full screen mode setting.

Step 4. Then, choose Disabled option.

Step 5. Then, click the Apply button.

Step 6. After that, click the OK button.

Step 7. Finally, reboot your computer to apply the changes.
