How to Open Disk Management in Windows 11?

Disk Management is a built-in utility in Windows 11 that allows you to manage hard disks. Step 2. Then, type Create and format hard disk partitions in the search box.

Step 3. Finally, hit the “Create and format hard disk partitions” in the search result to open the Disk Management tool.

How to Open Disk Management using Run Command?

To open the Disk Management tool using the Run dialog, do the following:-

Step 1. First, press Windows + R keys from the keyboard to open the Run dialog box.

Step 2. In the Run dialog box, type the following and hit Enter key on the keyboard:-

diskmgmt.msc

 

Now, Disk Management will open on your computer.

How to Open Disk Management using PowerShell or Command Prompt?

You can also open Disk Management using PowerShell or Command Prompt. Here is how to do it.

Step 1. Open PowerShell, or Command Prompt, whatever you prefer to use.

Step 2. On the prompt, type the following and then hit Enter key on the keyboard:-

diskmgmt
