Why do you need to upgrade Windows 11 Home to Pro?
Several features of Windows 11 Pro are not included in the Home edition. A lot of users are satisfied with the Home edition, but not all. Pro editions of Windows 11 are more geared toward professionals and enterprise-managed PCs.
If you have planned to get Windows 11 Pro, it is important to know what you will get in that. One of the features of the Pro edition is BitLocker encryption, which protects data from external attackers. Once you encrypt the data of your PC, only you will be able to access it. It is recommended that users who store confidential or personal data on their PC use BitLocker to encrypt it.
The other features include Remote Desktop, which lets you remotely connect to your PC and control it from anywhere around the world. This is useful if you need to access your computer remotely. However, there are so many good alternatives for remote desktop access, such as TeamViewer, UltraViewer, etc.
Last but not least, the Pro edition of Windows 11 also supports Hyper-V virtualization. With Hyper-V, you can create and run virtual machines to test specific environments or risky software without damaging your computer. You can, however, install Windows 11 after bypassing system requirements by using some freeware programs like VirtualBox.
After all, you need to decide if you want to upgrade to the Pro edition or if Windows 11 Home is sufficient for your needs.
